A loss for words...

Posted by Ryan Woods

The following things leave me at a loss for words:

  • Chinese food
  • My son being in the hospital
  • Moving
  • Blogging
  • Packing
  • Being sick
  • Being tired
  • Microfiber (what is it anyway? I think it's in the same family as nougat)
  • Mistakes
  • Sex
  • Money
  • Lack of money
  • Too much money
  • TV
  • Movies
  • Day time television programming
  • Tony Danza
  • Ear infections
  • Prunes
  • Death
  • God
  • Love
  • Monty Python
  • Piano music
  • My son laughing
  • My wife smiling
  • Moving sleeper sofas
  • Bisque (what is it?)
  • Hunger
  • Indulgence
  • Religion
  • Traditionalism
  • purposelessness
  • "No Outlet" signs
  • Daffodils

Because of all these things, and more, I do not expect to be blogging much for the next week. I'll see you later my dearest online family. Stay in touch.

i LOVE daffodils!!

I don't like that we encourage little kids to have a speech impediment by saying how cute it is. My sister-in-law is a speech pathologist and hates when people do that. Have you seen the Welch's commercials? Terrible!

I also think that it is cruel to use "speech impediment" to discribe when people can't pronounce half those letters. It would be like saying that you can only express through intricate dance, the meaning of two left feet.

bisque: i think you got it wrong and that is why it leaves you speechless. I believe you meant Bisquick... you use it for pancakes and stuff. Or maybe you meant Basque. That's a country in Europe. Apparently, Boise has a very large Basque community of which they are rather proud...

Lobster Basque. Yes, that makes sense now. Thank you Arwen.

I am uncertain what to call myself, but my family and I are committed to the people of downtown Vancouver, WA. We are followers of Christ and hope to be a part of a movement of hope, imagination, and transformation in our developing downtown community.
