Lent starts on Wednesday (Ash Wednesday). Are you fasting from anything? In an effort to be very holy I'm fasting from water...for 40 days...not really. Seriously, Lent is much different than a worthless attempt at being holy. Lent is so much bigger than that. As someone said at Renovatus on Sunday, Lent is all about preparation for Easter, preparation for the resurrected JC.
What is God preparing you for? What are you fasting from in an attempt to prepare yourself for Him?

Yeah I totally flashed my boobs all over town today. The good news is that I've got all sorts of beads to show for it.

Actually I have decided and actually stuck with giving up sweets. But lucky for me I found out that Starbucks is exempt from participating in any sort of Lentl fast.
