Titles, diaper rash, and new sweaters

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. I have been spending much time evaluating myself as a person, doing a personal inventory of sorts. Needless to say it has been quite challenging at times. Part of this challenge is that I don't really know what it means to do a personal inventory...
Here's the story. Here is what brought me to this point. My wife is a Mary Kay independant beauty consultant and to be uber-succesfull as a Mary Kay consultant you have to do what is called a Mental B.A.T.H. I won't go into all the uber-cool meanings of all the letters in BATH. But I will tell you that one of them is an affirmation statment that you read every day.
A Possitive Affirmation Statement is something that reminds you why you're doing what you're doing, what your goals are, it states in the possitive things that might presently be a negative (an example of this might be..."I am ultra sexy, and I acheive this by working out my upper dorsimus every day for fifteen minutes" even though the fact of the matter is that I do not do that, but I want to), it clairifies my purpose and my future. I could write much more about this, but as is I am probably making certain MK peoples angry by poorly representing thier ideas.
I am no MK consultant, but I do desire purpose, positive self talk, and high acheivments. And so I set out on this journey of figuring out what I want to accomplish, what I suck at, what I want to excel in, what I am currently good at, etc. etc. etc. etc... Now that I have finished draft #1 I listen to it every single day. I'm not sure it's working yet, 'cause I'm still lazy. I still at times do not like myself. But it could be that these sorts of things take time. The process, though, was very valuable if not the best thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life.
I hope to some day share with you my purpose page (as I call it), but as for now it is too personal and to under construction. As a person I am under construction and hope to always be. As a person I am trying to figure out life. As a Christian, however, I think I've got a leg up on lots of people. No offense, but I've got a pretty good thing going...if you do take offense, you should come to my church. Thats all I'm going to say about that.
