Makes me sick enough to spew

People are dying in lesser developed countries because of malnourishment and lack of clean water. It has been reported, though, that an annual increase in preventative care to the tune of 75 cents per person in the Third World could save 5 million lives every year. That would take less than 3 billion.
Sound like a lot of money?
The National Center for Health Statistics reported that the US spends between 30-50 BILLION each year on diets and related expenditures to reduce their calorie intake.
In other words...
we spend more money to stop stuffing ourselves than it takes to feed and water 5 million starving people.
Does that make you sick?
