Find a Shoulder to Cry on

Posted by Ryan Woods

I played this at Renovatus on Sunday within the context of showing someone who harnessed the arts to communicate Jesus. If this doesn't inspire you and make you want to cry like a little girl then I'm not sure anything will.

what an inspiring clip...he new how to communicate Jesus.

Mr Fred Rogers is awesome!

Did you know that he always wore long sleeves on the show because he had a bunch of tattoos from when he was in the navy?

Actually that was a disappointing myth. He didn't have sleeves and he wasn't ever in the navy. I always had heard that he was a sniper...but its all untrue. He was actually a music major, a puppeteer, and an ordained minister in the presbyterian church. Nothing exciting really.

I'm upset that the Navy thing was a myth (I heard he was a Chaplin on one of the battleships).

That does not, however, detract from his awesomeness.
