The goal of writing a blog is not to receive comments. If it were, we would all, at times, feel like failures. No, the goal is self expression and maybe even community. It sure does feel good to get those comments, to feel like people love what you had to say. Very often you'll write a post that is wicked nice but you will receive no comments. Why? To be honest, there is much debate between scholars concerning this issue. And in reality, most scholars agree that the answer may never be found.
I want 65 comments. I do. And I'm not ashamed.
So, if you could please comment a lot that would be nice. I will not post again until I get my comments.
Here are the rules:
- If you read but never comment, just drop a "Holler hey" or something like that (you don't need an account to comment)
- Don't comment like 17 times in a row (though, 17 separate comments are ok)
- Say whatever you want
- Just have fun with it. I'm going to just have fun with it, so you should just have fun with it
- Remember that my dignity and self worth is on the line here
