Second Words

Posted by Ryan Woods

My son said his second word yesterday after he had successful surgery to place ear tubes in his ears. He said "alf". There was no doubt about it, he said it and I heard it. I think he heard me talking about it one time and it just stuck. He loves Alf (as do we all). I hope his next word is "Growing Pains".

I have been telling you all day. Your son did not say alf. He has never even seen alf.

You don't know anything. Jones and I have talked about Alf often. You're just jelous 'cause he didn't talk about Alf with you. And that is a scientific fact.

I hope his next word is "America's Funniest Home Videos".

no his next word needs to be "House".

why not "Dave Coulier's Penis"? That would make us all happy. Pretty much because he just skipped all of the word learning and went straight to the sentence level. You'd have a baby genius on your hands.

I think what he was trying to say was "Mouth" but you know how when you're little it a little bit sounds like "Mouf"... mouf... alf... it's close. I think he will just be like his cousin and love food... then Aiden can teach him everything he knows about smuggling...

i think his next words should be

"She Was More Like A Beauty Queen From A Movie Scene
I Said Don't Mind, But What Do You Mean I Am The One
Who Will Dance On The Floor In The Round
She Said I Am The One Who Will Dance On The Floor In The Round

Billie Jean Is Not My Lover
She's Just A Girl Who Claims That I Am The One
But The Kid Is Not My Son
She Says I Am The One, But The Kid Is Not My Son"

and then "i wanna be on american idol, dad."

I miss Alf.

His next words should be Ron Burgundy.

what if his next word was "f*ck"...you remember that part... haha... what would you do!? I think you'd poop your pants... or he'd poop the tub again and then say his new word...
