Whats up with that?

Posted by Ryan Woods

Whats the deal with Walgreens and Riteaid? Am I right in saying that they are glorified gas station stores with drugs? Seriously, what good are they? Their pharmacy carries the same drugs that Walmart carries. Their food and random goods section of the store is similar to that of a minute mart mixed with a dollar store. How is it that there are nearly 23 combine in Vancouver alone! Am I missing something? Is there something that old people see in these places that I'm missing out on?
Let me know 'cause knowing is half the battle.

Don't know that it explains the large number of them, but, once my brother needed a perscription filled at 2am and the only place open was Walgreens.

Remeber Sprouse Reitz? Some people called it "Rights" some people called it "Reets". I never knew what it really was.

Walgreens fills in the gap for those of us who want to buy shampoo (or something else like that) and can't face the crushing mobs of Wal-mart

Walgreens will soon be world dominent and we will soon depend on its services as life support and job stability. It will also bring down the price of gas and drugs as it overtakes all minimart/gas stations/pharmacies. Its a worldwide tatic to rule the world by monopolizing on our basic needs: gas, drugs, and peanut m&m's.

Who wants extra cash!!!

i do! i do!

Having been propositioned by a prostitute outside the Walgreens on 82nd, I have a theory on how they stay in business . . . though, frankly, I have trouble understanding how prostitutes stay in business, I just felt really sorry for her, politely said, "No thank you," and got in my car and left.
